Information
Access4Lofts supplies and fits loft hatches, ladders, boarding, lighting and insulation, so homeowners can use their loft for storage without a full conversion. It is a Which? Trusted Trader.
Tim and Lindsay Brown founded the business in 2005. A pilot franchise opened in Preston in 2013 and the national franchise launched in 2018. By May 2025 there were 68 franchisees covering more than 100 territories.
No trade background is needed, only basic DIY skills, although the work is physical. Training starts with a five-day residential course at the Plymouth training centre followed by two days of on-site support. After launch, franchisees have an operations support director and an accountant to call on, along with the brand's quoting, marketing and admin system.
