Agency Express puts up and manages sale and to-let boards for residential and commercial estate agents. Founded in 1998 and based near Norwich, it describes itself as the UK's largest estate agency board operator, with 113 franchises from Inverness to Penzance. It also provides the SignMaster online system, AgencyQR and AgencyKeySafe.

The franchise is van-based and run from home. No experience or qualifications are needed, and the brand says it suits self-motivated people who like dealing with customers and working outdoors. Training lasts eight days, split between head office, the company-owned Norwich territory and launch preparation. A central accounts team handles invoicing and chases payments on franchisees' behalf.
