About
Children's art class franchise from Surrey, franchising since 2016 and suited to art teachers.
Information
art-K runs weekly after-school and Saturday art classes for children aged 6 to 18, along with GCSE and A-Level support, Arts Award courses, workshops, parties and adult classes. The first studio opened in 2000, and the company is based in Ashtead, Surrey. It reports more than 50 clubs across England.
Franchising began in 2016. Franchisees run their own art studio, with at least four after-school classes a week plus Saturday sessions, and look after local marketing. They also register voluntarily with Ofsted. The brand says the franchise suits art teachers and people training to become one. Support includes templates for each part of the business, a discovery day and a central team covering finance, HR, health and safety, recruitment and marketing. New territories are being sought outside the M25.
For details of the franchise package and current territories, see the brand's own franchise page.
Details checked against the brand's website in October 2026.
