ARTventurers

ARTventurers runs creative art and messy play classes for babies, toddlers and children, along with holiday sessions, birthday parties, sessions in schools and nurseries, and events. Fiona Simpson founded it in 2011, and the business is based in Sunderland.

ARTventurers trialled three branches before it began franchising. Franchisees choose their own hours and working days, and the brand says the franchise suits people who love creativity and working with children. Support includes training, ongoing mentoring, marketing coaching, an equipment package and a network of fellow franchisees.
