Autosmart

Autosmart makes and distributes professional vehicle cleaning products, selling to trade customers such as car dealerships, valeters, hauliers and bodyshops. It was founded in 1979, has franchised from the start and is based near Lichfield in Staffordshire. In December 2025 it had 117 UK franchisees running 167 mobile showrooms, and it also trades in Europe, the US and Australia.

Franchisees work as owner-operators, running a van-based mobile showroom in an exclusive territory and calling on trade customers. Current opportunities are mainly resales of existing franchises. Training starts with a five-day induction at head office, and a Regional Business Manager provides coaching and field support. Franchisees stay with the brand for 14 years on average.
