Awesome Chips

Awesome Chips sells fresh, hand-cut Belgian-style chips with a range of sauces and seasonings. The brand was set up in Leicester in 2015 and began franchising in 2023. It has three stores, in Leicester, Wood Green in London and the Bullring in Birmingham.

Franchisees run a shop in a high-footfall location. The brand says it helps with finding sites, provides retained property agents to help negotiate rents, and supports the store fit-out. Training includes four weeks at a dedicated store before opening and two weeks of support around launch, covering stock, staff recruitment, supply chain and financial management. Multi-unit franchises are available, and the brand is recruiting for locations across the UK.
