Banana Moon Day Nursery

Banana Moon Day Nursery is a UK childcare brand whose franchisees own and run day nurseries. It began franchising in October 2010 and says ten franchisees signed up in its first year. In August 2026 the brand was acquired by The Learning Experience, a US childcare company, which has said it plans further UK openings.

The franchise is premises-based. Owners do not need childcare experience, as they manage a team of qualified early years staff, and nurseries are inspected by Ofsted. The brand provides retained property search consultants to help find premises, ongoing nursery guidance and business advice, and a library of marketing materials. It says it has good relationships with the main banks that lend to franchisees.
