Green Motion Car Rental

Green Motion is a vehicle rental brand with a focus on low-emission cars and vans, including electric vehicles. Richard Lowden founded it in the UK in 2007, and it now operates entirely through franchisees and affiliates, with more than 700 locations in 80 countries according to its own site.

The franchise suits entrepreneurs starting a rental business and existing local rental operators who want to join a larger brand. Support includes training, use of the brand, access to vehicle supply, the GreenRes booking system and help with business planning. In the UK, the network has run through a master franchise since 2012.
