Information
Jam Coding teaches curriculum-linked computing and coding in primary schools, and runs Computing Labs lessons for children aged 4 to 13 in local venues. It started in Blackburn in 2014 and began franchising in 2019. By July 2024 it had more than 30 franchisees and over 300 coaches.
Franchisees work in schools and local venues within an exclusive territory, and no teaching or technical background is needed. Support includes business and curriculum training, the Jam Coding Academy learning platform, mentoring and sales help, with hardware, software and teaching resources included. Jam Coding also secures each new franchisee's first two school contracts.
